Project Management for Business Central – Fixed Assets

The standard jobs functionality in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central helps you to manage projects and contracts for your organization. This functionality enables users to define project structures, plan and manage tasks in projects and manage project budgets vs. actuals. This functionality works well for many companies but is not always sufficient for project-centric businesses to run their business well.

The Prodware Project Management for Business Central is made up of different apps that take the standard jobs functionality a few steps further and increases the efficiency & flexibility of managing projects and providing better insights. This results in time savings and error reduction and enhances the ability to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

The Fixed Assets app creates the possibility to post the depreciation of Fixed Assets to a project. By allocating the costs (such as depreciation, maintenance and insurance) and the revenues (such as rental) of a fixed asset to a project, the results are managed in a well-organized sub-administration, whereas otherwise the information has to be collected from several general ledgers.

The Fixed Assets app empowers project managers to have a complete overview of the investment in fixed assets, activities and planning of maintenance, thereby saving time and reducing errors, and being financially in control.
